Bravado Gaming have qualified for ESWC 2015 after defeating eNergy 3-2 in the grand final of the South African qualifier.

Held inside the Jukes Esports Lounge, in Pretoria, the South African ESWC qualifier featured the eight best teams in the country, who were determined through an online preliminary tournament featuring 32 sides.

Bravado Gaming, who underwent a triple roster change at the start of the year, confirmed their status as favorites by securing the first place in the grand final following a 2-0 victory over eNergy in the Upper Bracket final.

Ruan “ELUSIVE” van Wyk’s side then defeated Damage Control by a 2-0 scoreline in the Consolidation Final to earn a shot at revenge against Bravado, who had a one-map advantage going into the best-of-five grand final.

The title decider began with a really strong showing from Bravado as they cruised to a 16-2 victory on de_inferno, but eNergy picked themselves up and levelled the series with 16-4 and 16-6 wins on de_cache and de_dust2, respectively. However, they did not not have enough in the end to go that extra mile as Bravado claimed a 16-7 win on de_cobblestone to book a place at the event in Canada.

You can watch the VODs from the tournament by heading over to Orena’s Twitch channel.
