Curse has announced that it will host a four-team invitational tournament on Friday with $10,000 on offer.
Following up on the success of its North American invitational tournament, which saw eLevate take home the top prize, Curse has partnered up with ESEA to host the second Alienware Area51 cup, this time for European teams only.
The list of participants has been reduced to just four teams, who will square off in a best-of-three single-elimination bracket, with the winning side securing the top prize of $7,000, whereas the losing finalist gets $3,000.
Maikelele’s Team Kinguin will be hoping to get back to winning ways
The semi-final stage will see Team Kinguin take on Virtus.pro as they hope to bounce back from recent disappointments, whereas Team SoloMid, one of the hottest teams in the world right now, will lock horns with mousesports.
Below you can find the full timetable for the tournament:
|Friday, May 29th|
The entire tournament will be streamed live on ESEA TV, with Jason “moses” O’Toole and John “BLU” Mullen taking viewers through the action.
