Derek “desi” Branchen has announced via Twitter that he has been released by eLevate.

The news comes just hours after eLevate were eliminated from the ESWC USA qualifier in the semi-final stage following a 0-2 defeat against Team Liquid, who would go on to win the tournament.

Derek “desi” Branchen, who had been part of the team since March, when he was brought on to replace Liquid-bound Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski, has just revealed on Twitter that he is a free agent after being released from his contract with eLevate.

Replacing the former iBUYPOWER member will allegedly be Andrew “Professor_Chaos” Heintz, who has been without a team since losing his place on Nihilum’s roster to Spencer “Hiko” Martin.
