London Conspiracy won the Norwegian ESWC qualifier following a 2-1 victory over partyastronauts (16-11 on de_mirage and 16-12 on de_nuke).
Held under the wings of ByLAN, the Norwegian ESWC qualifier attracted all the top teams in the country, including London Conspiracy, whose future has been shrouded in mystery after playing most of their online matches in recent weeks with stand-ins.
Back to their traditional lineup, Preben “prb” Gammelsæter‘s side were handed a heavy blow when they were defeated by partyastronauts in the Upper Bracket Final, which threw them to the wrong end of the bracket.
After seeing off Majority Gaming in the Consolidation Final, London Conspiracy got the chance to exact revenge on partyastronauts, who required to win just one map to qualify for the ESWC finals as they came from the Upper Bracket.
Casted by TV2, the grand final was a keenly-contested affair, but in the end LondonC proved their credentials and ran out 2-1 winners after picking up a 16-11 victory on de_mirage and a 16-12 success on de_nuke.
