SK Gaming will reveal their new CS:GO team on Saturday, managing director Alexander “TheSlasH” Müller has announced.
SK have been looking for a way back into Counter-Strike for a while now, after their previous two teams – both featuring all-Swedish lineups – failed to produce the level of results the organisation expected of them.
Last month, SK were on the brink of signing the international team assembled by Mikail “Maikelele” Bill’s and Adil “ScreaM” Benrlitom but they were outbid by Kinguin at the last minute and were forced to look elsewhere.
Recent reports have linked SK with the Danish team known as undefined, led by former CPH Wolves and n!faculty member Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander. Neither team nor the German organisation have so far commented on these stories.
Alexander “TheSlasH” Müller, SK Gaming’s managing director, has now revealed on Twitter that the new players will land in Cologne before the end of the day and will be formally unveiled on Saturday after a photoshoot session.
